A4 Banner - Quirky

Hi there,

A reminder that we are running webinars starting this week to help you upskill during these difficult times.

The sessions are free and anyone is welcome, so feel free to share with anyone who may find them valuable.

We have some great speakers lined up for our first sessions but welcome your feedback on what would be helpful for you as we hope to bring you what you need most in these times. Email Meg your thoughts or tips: meg@skedsocial.com.

Upskill & chill with us

Each webinar runs for 30 minutes plus 15 minutes at the end for Q&A, and will be facilitated by Meg Coffey from Coffey & Tea, a marketing agency based in Perth, Australia. Feel free to shoot through any questions for our speakers before the sessions as well.

Here are the sessions lined up so far:

1. Communicating in uncertain times: a frank chat about brand messaging and keeping in touch with customers in the time of COVID-19

A frank conversation about how brands can communicate during the pandemic, and how to draw the balance between addressing the issue upfront and not coming across as "taking advantage" of the situation.

Confirmed speakers (so far!) for this webinar:

  • Matt Rosich, CMO at Close Comfort, a national consumer goods company
  • Meg Coffey, MD of Coffey & Tea, a marketing agency based in Perth, Australia
  • Hugh Stephens, founder of Sked Social.

2. Tips and tricks in travel and tourism: what do we do when nobody is allowed to travel, and how do we survive as an industry?

The tourism and travel sectors have been decimated by travel lockdowns globally and reduced domestic travel. What does that mean, and what content can you share when people can't visit, and it's uncertain when they can?

Confirmed speakers for this webinar:

  • Sonia Beckwith, General Manager at Live Ningaloo, a tourism operator in Exmouth Western Australia
  • With more coming soon…

3. Shopping ain't what it used to be: turning commerce on its head

eCommerce is one of the few sectors that might see improved sales during these times, while at the same time fashion and retail businesses are closing stores. How do you handle this shift from offline to online?

  • Tim Doyle, founder of Eucalyptus (healthcare eCommerce brands like Kin Fertility and Pilot) – previously Head of Marketing for online mattress company Koala.
